The Story: Two identical boys are born on the same day to King Surendra Dev (S. V. Rangarao) and to a thief Poligadu (NTR). Twelve years later, the sick King decides to crown the Prince Narendra Dev (Master Sudhakar). His lookalike Narigadu (Master Sudhakar) tortured by his father for refusing to beg, leaves home without informing his mother Achi (Lakshmi Rajyam) and sister Malli (Ammaji). He is caught by the palace guards but is saved by the Prince. They exchange clothes and find that they look identical. Narigadu falls asleep on the Prince’s bed. Mistaking him for Narigadu, the guards throw the prince out. Thus they accidentally exchange places.

Soon the prince leaves Poligadu’s house. Sudhir (Relangi), a valiant soldier who is in love with Malli, takes care of him. Meanwhile the king dies. The army commander Vikram Dev (R. Nageswara Rao) plots to usurp the kingdom. He learns the truth about Narigadu and compels him to act as the prince. He also plots to kill the real prince but Poligadu and Sudhir thwart his plan. In the fight that follows, Poligadu kills Vikram. Narendra Dev is crowned as the king. He orders Poligadu and his family to stay with him in the palace.

But as he keeps spending on the things like horse races etc.. He starts getting more money from his ventures. Also he starts to get the new problems because of the money. Meanwhile Rekha and Ramarao have differences as Ramarao is busy with the money matters of Shyam and neglects her. Malliswari Full Length Movie During the days of the Vijayanagara Empire there was a system to bring willing women to the royal palace and render them official residents. This was called 'Rani Vasam'. According to this royal tradition, they sent palanquins to their houses, after they presented the family with gifts and jewellery. These Rani Vasam women should never have any contact with any man or let any man see them without permission. If any one violated the law, they were beheaded. Malleswari (Bhanumathi) was taken to this Rani Vasam. She was forced to accept this, for lure of money and jewellery by her mother. But she was already in love with her 'Bava' Nagaraju (N.T. Rama Rao), a sculptor. He stealthily got into the garden of the palace to meet his beloved and was caught. He was to get the death penalty. While robbing the people, Shanta slaps him and argues convincingly how bad his way of life affects their livelihood. This incident changes him and makes him leave his association with Kampanna. He lives with the villagers and trains the youth in fighting skills. Gradually Jayanth and Shanta loves each other. Unable to tolerate this Jayanth and Vasanth had a fight. When Shanta expresses her love for Jayanth, Vasanth accepts it and get them married. The angry Kampanna attacks the village to destroy them. Jayanth and his child were taken away. Shanta suspects Vasanth's involvement. Then Vasant goes to the hub of Kampanna and fights with them and saves Jayanth and his child. He loses his life in this attempt.

Changayya is a wealthy Sowkar whose son Satyam is studying in the city. His neighbour is Ramayya . Changayya is affectionate towards Ramayya's daughter Subbulu and wants to make her his daughter-in-law. Satyam also likes this idea. But due to some conflict in the village courtesy Bangarayya, Ramayya becomes the main witness against Changayya citing Changayya's hand in some messy affair. The two families are thereafter estranged. They start off with petty fights, getting worse every day resulting in Satyam and Ramayya's son Narayana ..both ending up in jail after being framed. The local goonda Sunnapu Rangadu plans to rob Changayya's place, but his plans are spoiled by Subbulu and Ramayya. Both the families end their differences thereafter and become friendly once again. At the end, Satyam and Subbulu marry and live happily.
